Sally Bates BHSAI 

Beginners to more advanced riders taken for flat work or jumping tuition here at Newbold Verdon. I enjoy teaching nervous riders with confidence issues as well as confident riders.

Lessons cost £20 per 30 minutes here at NVEC or contact me for travelling costs. 

Nick Creaton BHSI 

Nick holds the full British Horse Society Instructors Certificate. He is a member of the Register of Instructors and is also a BHS Chief Examiner/Assessor. Nick teaches at NVEC most Mondays during the morning. Nick also runs the popular Working the Horse in Hand Clinic here (date to be arranged) Should you wish to book a lesson with Nick at NVEC please contact Sally Bates to arrange a time. 

Laurence Hunt 

Laurence began his Eventing career at Lucy Thompson's yard in Edenbridge in Kent. He set up his own yard in Surrey before moving to Leicester and qualifying for Blenheim Palace on Proud Ginger. He made his debut at Badminton on Proud Ginger and produced a double clear to finish being placed, and in the prizes. Laurence will teach anyone willing to learn, from the novice rider to the more experienced and is here at NVEC on a regular basis. 

Jane Peberdy 

Jane is a British Dressage List 1 dressage judge. She is on the BHS register of Instructors and holds the UKCC level 3 coaching certificate. Jane trains a variety of dressage riders ranging from novice to advanced level. She is friendly and approachable and can see the cause of a problem and not just the symptoms. She has a clear, down to earth way of explaining things, which makes it all seem possible! 

Judy Bradwell 

We are very proud to have Judy teach at our facility. Judy is a list 2a BD judge and has produced horses successfully for Showing including Hacks and Working Hunters, Eventers, Dressage, Show Jumping and Combined Training. During Judy’s Eventing career, she has won on over 50 different horses, with the exception of her Burghley 3-day Event winner Don Camillo, they were found and produced by Judy. 
 
The Burghley Young Event Horse Final also often featured 4 and 5-year-old horses produced by Judy. Judy still owns Event horses competing at the highest level, trains many International riders and officiates at FEI Three Day events. Along with being New Zealand event team dressage coach 
A private lesson with Judy is 45 minutes long and cost £75.00 

Tracie Robinson 

British Eventing Team Dressage Coach Tracie Robinson took on the role in the Summer of 2001 having previously worked for Mark Todd, Eddy Stibbe and Enrique Sarasola. Tracie has a great eye and fantastic manner suited to all levels of riders. Tracie passed her BHSI at the Talland School of Equitation where she was head girl and chief instructor for seven years. 
 
She was yard manager for dressage rider Dr Wilfried Bechtolsheimer and began working with British Dressage team member Carl Hester. She has also trained Mark Todd, schooling his Burghley winner Diamond Hall Red. 
 
Lessons with Tracie are 45 minutes at £75 per private lesson. 

Victoria Gallantree 

 
She is an inspiring coach who works with both the horse and rider to develop understanding and confidence which results in a positive partnership. 
 
Victoria also does mentoring that benefit many clients who express a need for additional coaching when feelings affect their riding performance. 
Lessons with Victoria are 45 minutes long for a private lesson and cost £50. 

Charlie King BHSAI 

Charlie will be running BHS Riding and Road Safety Training here at Newbold Verdon E.C. from Easter onwards. The course will be a 2-day course and the exam will take place after the training. Please keep an eye on the website for dates for the first R&RS Training Days.
